Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed musical has won over 70 major theatre awards since it premiered in London on 9 October 1986.

The soaring score includes Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, Masquerade and the iconic title overture.

Since opening, The Phantom of the Opera continues to play to full houses in London and was the longest-running show on Broadway when it closed after 35 years in April 2023. It has been seen by more than 160 million people in 46 territories and 193 cities in 21 languages worldwide and in 2025 the spectacular musical made its debut in India at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai.
