Crossroads Live Group is formed of leading producers and presenters of world-class musical theatre, united in the shared vision of becoming the first and foremost global distributor of iconic theatrical entertainment. Beginning with David Ian Productions (UK, acquired in 2019), CXL has expanded its geographical reach and unrivaled team through the subsequent acquisitions of the Gordon Frost Organisation (Australia, 2020), Qdos Pantomimes (UK, 2021), and TROIKA Entertainment (North America, 2022).
History
David lan Productions (DIP): Founded in 2006 and became a leading producer, promoter and tour operator of high-profile licensed musicals including Annie, The Bodyguard, Cats, Evita, Chicago, Grease and The Sound of Music, staged in theatrical markets around the world. Now Crossroads Live UK, the company continues to be led by David Ian, who also serves as CEO of Crossroads Live Group.
The Gordon Frost Organisation (GFO): One of Australia's most successful and prolific theatre producers with productions spanning from Wicked, The Book of Mormon, Evita and Chicago to a long partnership with Opera Australia on classics such as South Pacific, The King and I, Anything Goes and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. GFO now operates as Crossroads Live Australia under the continuing leadership of GFO founder John Frost, an icon of the Australian theatre industry.
Qdos Pantomimes: Re-christened Crossroads Pantomimes, the company remains at the heart of innovative, family entertainment in the UK as the producer of more than 20 pantomimes each year (including at the iconic London Palladium). Producer and CEO Michael Harrison, a key partner of Crossroads Live Group across our global platform, leads a creative team that delights audiences throughout the UK, year after year.
TROIKA Entertainment: With a history spanning three decades, TROIKA has toured productions including Cats, The Sound of Music, 42nd Street, Chicago, Sister Act, Annie and The Phantom of the Opera across the US and Canada, and in some instances to China and across the Pacific Rim. As Crossroads Live North America, the company is led by CEO and Executive Producer Angela Rowles.
Today, under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer David lan, Crossroads Live Group is an established market leader in the core theatrical touring markets of North America, the UK and Australia. And, working alongside strategic partners including GMG Productions (Southeast Asia, New Zealand) and Tremendous Entertainment (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand), Crossroads is leading the expansion of opportunities for largescale theatrical entertainment in developing markets including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, India, and China.
