US Theatre Awards Season: The Lost Boys, Titanique and Beaches all nominated

The 79th Annual Tony Award nominations were announced today, and we’re thrilled that The Lost Boys is one of the frontrunners, with a mighty twelve nominations, including Best Musical. Joining them in the tussle for that award is the fabulous Titanique, who picked up four nominations in total.

  11. Best Lighting Design of a Musical: Jen Schriever and Michael Arden.

  12. Best Sound Design of a Musical: Adam Fisher

Titanique

  2. Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical: Marla Mindelle 

  3. Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical: Layton Williams 

  4. Best Book of a Musical: Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle, and Constantine Rousouli

Ahead of the Tonys the US theatre awards season will be announcing winners thick and fast with the Outer Critics Circle Awards next up on 11 May. Again, The Lost Boys leads the pack with 11 nominations, a well-deserved nod for Jessica Vosk in Beaches and Titanique not eligible due to its previous Off Broadway run.
